Gladys Gurrea-Haina is a Registered Nurse registered in both Australia and the Philippines, with a strong background in Emergency and acute-care nursing.
Her career in fast-paced clinical environments has given her extensive experience caring for patients when they need professional attention, calm decision-making and compassionate care the most.
But for Gladys, nursing has never been simply about the clinical procedure.

Working in Emergency Departments and acute-care environments gave Gladys a unique perspective on health.
She witnessed how quickly a person's circumstances can change — and how important it is to recognise concerns, seek appropriate medical care and prioritise wellbeing.
Rather than creating another traditional clinic experience, Gladys wanted to bring professionally guided wellness services directly to people — at home, at work or wherever appropriate.

Why Lumivé Wellness Australia Was Born.
Lumivé Wellness Australia was born from a deeply personal journey. As a Registered Nurse, I had spent years caring for other people—working across medical, surgical, cardiology and emergency care. I understood healthcare from the clinical side. But in 2022–2023, I found myself struggling with my own health and wellbeing. Life had taken its toll. I experienced a period of significant physical, emotional and mental exhaustion, and I realised something I had often seen in my patients was happening to me too: I had spent so much time caring for everyone else that I had forgotten to care for myself. That experience changed the way I looked at wellness. I began exploring what it really means to support the body, restore wellbeing and become intentional about health—not just when something goes wrong, but before we reach that point. And that's where the idea for Lumivé Wellness Australia was born. I wanted to create something different. A wellness experience built on the foundation of "professional nursing care, safety, compassion and genuine human connection"—while recognising that every person has different needs, different goals and a different story. Lumivé Wellness Australia became more than a business. It became part of my own journey. A reminder that health is something we cannot afford to keep putting last. Today, Lumivé Wellness Australia exists to help people make their wellbeing a priority through personalised wellness services and professional nursing care. Because I've been on both sides of the healthcare journey. I've been the nurse caring for others. And I've been the person who needed to stop, listen to my body and start caring for myself. That's why Lumivé Wellness Australia was born. Not simply to provide another wellness service— but to create an experience of care that is personal, professional and human.
